The Housing Authority of the City of Gaffney is located in Gaffney, SC and operates two-hundred seventy four (274) units of conventional public housing on four (4) sites, all conveniently located within the city
limits of Gaffney. This Authority does not operate a Section 8 program.
Applications for admission for all apartments operated by the Gaffney Housing Authority are received from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Thursday at the office at 125 Beltline Road, Gaffney, SC 29341.
Rents are based on family income and calculated in compliance with Federal Regulations. All units have Energy Efficient central air conditioning, and natural gas for stoves, hot water heaters, and heating. Natural
Gas and water/sewer costs are included in the rent; all electric bills
are paid by the resident directly to the Gaffney Board of Public Works.
Each property has newly renovated playgrounds, security enhancements, and limited Wi-Fi is available on each site at no charge.
